Abstract

For my Senior Thesis I studied Stand your Ground, and Gun Laws. The argument was on would stricter gun laws reduce gun violence. While researching what fascinated me was that in some states to purchase a gun all you needed was a license and to be eighteen and over. While asking my senior class in a survey would they want their teachers to have weapons in the classroom 98% of them answered no. I analyzed cases including Trayvon Martin, and Rodney Cox, etc.. I did this project to reduce homicide rates in america and make families safer.
